Involves several hours of sanding in preparation for finishing.
Staining is done after sanding. our sanding process is several levels of sand paper up to the finest. Then staining is done and several top coats are applied. Each top coat has to have time to dry in between.
Painting involves 3 primer coats that are each dried and sanded before going on to the next. After this step is done then the top coats are applied as necessary. This is a very time intensive process and thus is more costly than staining.
